"Kid Detective"
Music by Pluto Boll
A series of compositions written and produced for the world premiere of Weston Scott's Kid Detective, 2025. These pieces were used as scoring and transitional music during and between scenes. Concept: a jazz noir soundtrack reminiscent of old detective movies, with the soundscape of elementary school age children. This soundscape slowly darkens throughout the show as the content darkens. Mix of live recording and midi instruments.
From an original musical "The Legend Anne Bonny", this song was co-composed by myself and Emy McGuire, then arranged for orchestra and produced in Logic for use in the show by me. It is currently being produced at Shifted Lens summer 2025. This particular number is the Act I closer.
"You're Guilty" by Pluto Boll and Emy McGuire
Another for original musical "The Legend Anne Bonny", this particular number comes at the climax of Act II, showing a revitalized use of percussive and string elements, with interesting rhythmic qualities. 2025.

Written for a possible film adaptation for the novel No One Aboard by Emy McGuire. Murder Mystery / Thriller at sea. 2023.
"It's Better to Hunt" by Pluto Boll and Emy McGuire
Another for original musical "The Legend Anne Bonny", the villain song. Use of automation on strings to achieve a pulsating effect, along with the heartbeat at the beginning makes it a creepier piece.

Mercutio and Tybalt Fight
Composed for Upstart Crow Theatre Co.'s production of Romeo and Juliet. This song plays underneath Mercutio and Tybalt's sword fight in III-I
and continues underneath dialogue. 2025.
Paris and Romeo Fight
Composed for Upstart Crow Theatre Co.'s production of Romeo and Juliet. This song plays underneath Paris and Romeo's fight in V-III.
